Eleia is produced on the largest privately owned family olive grove, 45,000 olive trees in Lechaina, West Peloponnese.  It has all the qualifications for an award-winning, exceptional extra virgin olive oil - early harvest – cold extraction – first press – hand picked olives, which gives it a fruity & aromatic qualities with a peppery finish which yields from the wild herbs after an October rain and the fact that it is a single variety derived from Koroneiki olives.

2015 is the birth year of “Melies” from estates around Lechaina in the West Peloponnese, Greece’s most fertile piece of land with more than 50% of Greece’s extra virgin olive oil production. The process of early harvest, cold extraction and careful storage in aluminum stainless steel tanks are respected by all the members of the “Melies” team and the entire production is processed at the same ISO 22000 certified olive mill, while we manage to keep the acidity at < 0.4%, with high Polyphenols and Tocopherols.

An all-natural jams made with 75%-85% whole fruit!  Mr. & Mrs. Greek jams are boiled slowly in small batches following traditional recipes.  They work closely with fruit growers around Greece to select the highest quality, freshly picked fruit.  Only natural food goes into the jar: whole fruit, sugar and freshly squeeze orange and lemon juice.  The high fruit content gives the jam a homemade quality and taste, it also means less sugar, and no pectin or anything artificial

the Messinian Bliss

They still pick their olives by hand just like their parents used to do, seeing that neither the fruit nor the tree is damaged. They use only linen sacks and take their fruit to the oil press the very same day of its harvest to assure that it retains all its properties until further procedure. They exclusively use the cold extraction method to make sure that the nutritional values as well as the taste and flavor properties of the fruit are transferred into the oil pulp.
They put LIÁ olive oil into a well - designed opaque white bottle to keep your oil away from light and to preserve its top quality. Finally, they store the bottles in a cool place of regular temperature.
